Academic Calendar 2010-2011

The academic year at TUT is divided into two semesters, the autumn semester and the spring semester. During the academic year there are four teaching periods, and there is an examination week(s) at the end of each period. During the summer months (except for the month of July) some courses are lectured (mainly in Finnish) and there are some possibilities for examinations and research work at the departments.

The autumn semester begins late August/early September and ends at the end of December. The spring semester starts early January and ends late May.
